The Code of Conduct provides a set of standards for all leaders who serve for Kingdom Priesthood Fellowship International, Inc.
The public and private conduct of clergy can inspire and motivate people, but it can also scandalize and undermine their faith. Clergy persons must, always, be aware of the sacred responsibilities that accompany their noble calling. They must also know that God’s goodness and grace support them in their ministry to the people of God. Responsibility for adherence to the Code of Conduct rests with the individual. Members who disregard this Code of Conduct will be subject to corrective action by the Apostolic Council. Corrective action may include a verbal reprimand, written warning, probationary, and/or removal from the Fellowship.
The Code of Conduct provides a non-disclosure set of standards in our ministry. Violations of these standards must be reported to the appropriate authorities. However, none of the obligations stated in this Code of Conduct are independent of the confidentiality agreement. Under NO circumstances can there be any disclosure even indirect disclosure of information received through the Fellowship.
Since those who serve are under the authority of the Office of the International Presiding Bishop and the
guidelines of the Fellowship, there are some necessary expectations and requirements, in a general capacity, that
are expected.
Those who are affected by the Code of Conduct are the Bishop, Overseer, Elder, Evangelist, Deacon, and
Missionary who are ordained, General Overseers who are installed, and State Leaders who are appointed.
Those who are installed are eligible for review, and hearings and are allowed due process as listed under
the areas of discipline in said areas of responsibility. The procedure as outlined due to the position held is to be
followed and adhered to as necessary for said discipline before extreme action is taken.
Those who are appointed can appeal to the Regional Disease Bishop for hearing under disciplinary
situations, but the final decision will be left to the discretion of the International Presiding Bishop who appoints
persons in stated positions, or the Episcopal Affairs in authority on an international level who has made
appointments. Those who are appointed can be removed by immediate Episcopal authority as needed after
assessing and determining a situation and/or the effectiveness or lack of professional, ethical, and/or moral concern
of said appointee.
